“What the mind can conceive and believe it can achieve” - Napoleon Hill
1828 Picture Framing situated in Long Lane, Shell Corner, started trading in 2002.
The owners, Maureen Brant and her partner Raymond Westwood, started the business when Maureen was made redundant from her previous employer for whom she had worked for 19 years.
Her previous job was also in picture framing, so she had already honed her skills and expertise over the years.
It took virtually no time at all to become established as many of Maureen’s previous customers remained loyal to her in supporting the new enterprise.
Business is good and the shop even supplys customers as far away as Norfolk. Maureen says she has a good relationship with other traders on the Shell and like them, she would like to see more parking facilities and the streets cleaned more often.
Maureen’s has a repertoire of skills which include:
Framed artwork
Framed T-shirts and memorabilia
Signed footballs and cricket bats in display case

Framed Indian wedding jewellery
A football signed by West Bromwich Albion footballers
