Tired of making money for other people, friendly couple Meg and Barry Peacock finally decided to take the plunge for themselves and in August 2007 set up DECREASE Ironing service.

‘Financial Independence’  is what drove them to take charge of their own destiny and offer over 20 years of previous experience in ironing and dry cleaning direct to the public in a friendly Professional service. Also working with them in the shop is their son Daniel, so it really is a family affair.

Most of their business comes through passing trade and the many referrals of delighted customers who ‘can’t wait’ to give their ironing chore to someone else to do. They  offer a pick up and delivery service, along with laundry and dry cleaning, repairs and alterations.

One of the things they like about Shell Corner is the friendliness of the people and other business owners and would dearly love to see the area regenerated back into a thriving commercial community.  So, if your a busy professional, an over worked mum, single, or just hate ironing with a passion, then let Meg and Barry DECREASE all that ironing for you!
